I am looking for replacement for OEM battery , Please suggest . Tks
When I did my 3 year service in December 2016 I put in a new battery. The DEALER specified an Interstate not one of the cheap Italian ones. The model at that time was: IBMT5-48/H6. They charged me $225 I know you can buy it for less from an independent shop. Best
I installed a WorldSource One Exact Fit in mine after an extensive search for a replacement of my original OEM battery. My local dealer recommended it as well. It costs about $260. The battery is made in Germany or the USA depending on the model. The Exact Fit model has the exact matching specifications to the OEM model. WorldSource One is an OEM supplier to BMW and Mercedes. Your dealer should be able to get it. It's been 18 months in service with excellent performance in my 458. The Ferrari's OEM replacement costs about $600 and is not nearly as good as the WorldSource One. Unless your car is still under warranty, give WorldSource One a try. It is also an alternative to the those made in China or Mexico.
