Wow, what impresses me is that someone actually sat down and designed this with this car in mind....I guess there was enough interest from 458/488 owners.
It's a Sea Sucker rack, not specially designed for anything. You buy the one that fits your car & carries your bike how you want. https://www.seasucker.com/collections/bike
That's so funny --- I take it that the back windscreen of the GTC4L is not sloped/raked for one to go on and not come flying off at higher than avg speeds....
That was my first thought. Both bikes shown, though, look like full carbon jobbies (and road bikes, at that) so they probably weigh about the same as a thimble full of gnats. My full sus mountain bike, on the other hand, is around the 30lbs mark. Not sure I'd want that brute stressing my glass.
Here is a shot with my mountain bike on. It is pretty old and heavy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nice ! where / how do you transport the front wheel ? Im looking for a similar set up for mine ... atb, Voy
The way the bike is attached to the glass is the same method that the glass is installed and removed. If for some reason the bond is inferior you'd be out the bike, the glass and damage to the bodywork. Admittedly a small chance but still a risk.
