The cats and back, and a lot of other stuff ;) are off the 458 C due to the need to open up with DCT. Some of us get lucky and get one that needs sensors...such is the hobby we choose and I love! We noticed the cat material is moving in the OEM cats so that got me thinking do I we change the exhaust components. My 430C I had for 5 years had aftermarket exhaust all the way.

While thinking about this more tracks are setting sound level restrictions. My bias is very loud since that is free flowing.

Looking for thoughts, experiences and recommendation if there are any. I have my biases but the collective whole here has more experience and knowledge. From headers back and then considering some 103 db restrictions. What are the options and experiences?

I know my cats right now are restricting flow due to the movement of the material so maybe just address that is an option

Look forward to hearing from others.

    Regards

    Peter,

As best I could tell, my white 458 was stock, so however it came out of the factory was on the car when I ran it. Ken Kale’s is a bit louder than mine, I can ask him what he had done.

My (eventual) incoming 458 has a Fabspeed, again not sure if they’re 100 cell cats, I should know in January once the box is sorted and car is in my possession.

Not sure what you’re trying to accomplish here, unless it’s just to replace older cats with resin bouncing around, but many of these tracks are cracking down.

The Sunday quiet hour at RA is 96db. And of course they look for our cars.

Hope you get your DCT sorted out. Such is the hobby, as you’ve stated.

    William
