458 CF Race Seat finish

My car is a '14 with large CF race seats. I notice that the seat backs are not high gloss polished CF like the steering wheel and other CF interior bits. Is this normal ? The finish is quite dull and not that smooth as if it wasn't finished. Can a random orbital buffer polish and shine up the seat backs ?

 

I would use a polish machine.

The seats often are very flat in the finish and need a polish with
a polish machine and a harder pad.

sometimes, the rears of the seats just dont want to polish up. I have done many farrari's some of them with carbon seats that have a dull finish to them. I have taken my most aggressive combos to them to no avail.
