It's highly unlikely to be the 570LT unless they are going as far as modifying the doors and the roof, because this car has McLaren F1 style doors.

You nailed it SiSc! I also see a lot of 250 GTO and Testarossa in it, not to mention a good sprinkling of Daytona and Boxer! Even a slight hint of the Enzo too. What were they thinking...that we weren't going to notice???

I doubt the production version will be better. Looks 100% ready to me. I hope that matt black paint is the launch color, looks so cool!

I fully agree with you, how dare they! Even the a-pillar angle looks similar as do the rounded wheel lip cut-outs, Pure rip-off!

Great critique! Would you mind if I copied your post and reposted it on the day of the car's launch to show us all how accurate your assessment is? I think that, if you're right, you'll be hailed as a true aesthete.

Are they actually working on this though? I thought Ferrari recently invested significant funds into aluminum development. Ferrari prefers aluminum over carbon fiber - SAE International

Never liked looks of mc until 570 and that includes p1 but this spy shot is very promising. Now that 488 is also turbo, this could be a game changer

I love Ferrari but I also have to recognize McLaren as the origin of the modern mid engine supercar shape. Back when Ferrari introduced the F355 and F50 in 1995 with traditional buttresses and wings for downforce, McLaren blew us away with the F1 with its novel design. Ferrari copied that shape and commoditized it with the 360 Modena 5 years later.
