Recently took my just purchased 458 to Powerhaus Performance, a local tuning shop in south jersey to get tuned. The base line pull came in at only 410/290 hp and tq on their mustang dyno. But I was anticipating a much lower number than what I have seen on dynojets. After the custom tune revisions the tuner was able to get a 21 rwhp and 11 tq gain. The process was quick as they did all tuning in house and the results are awesome! They have a lot of neat projects going on as well. After driving the car for a week the car feels phenomenal, throttle response and shifting improved, much faster acceleration, and even seems to make the engine run a bit smoother. I highly recommend a tune to anyone on the fence. I can't wait to get full exhaust and get it retuned! Image Unavailable, Please Login
How many runs were made in each configuration? What was the spread between the runs? I wouldn't trust any data without at least 2, (3 much prefered), runs in each configuration. Also, how much time elasped between configurations? Was gearbox temperature and oil temperature monitored? In order to verify the results, the old configuration would need to be put back to make sure the runs repeat to the originals. I would NEVER trust dyno data based on single before and after run.
There was 2 base line runs made with the car at full temperature. 6-7 pulls were made with tuning, 3 runs after final tune revision made within 5-10 minutes. All within 1-2 hp and tq. I will try to get the rest of graphs emailed to me
Was all done via OBD. Here are the 2 baselines and a few of the tuning pulls. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
