Hi all, Iv currently got a forza on my 458 and when Iv can back today the right exhaust valve is constantly open and will not close, when I close it the fumes still come out of the right pipe as well as the middle, the car runs like a bag of poo now unless I keep the left valve open with it, is this a common problem? Is it the forza or the exhaust?
    Thanks

    Hi

If the controller is operating one side ok, sounds like the problem is more with the valve than the controller...

Swap the cables at the controller. If the problem then moves to the left exhaust valve, the problem could well be the controller. If the problem remains with the right valve, then problem is likely with exhaust system.

Great thanks, if it is the valve would this be covered under under the warranty if I remove the controller and take it back to Ferrari?

If you find it to be a problem with the vehicle, I would recommend removing the controller and then take it the dealer for warranty. And, if it is the vehicle, the controller would not have any influence on the problem. But, removing the controller will remove any evidence of it every being on the car, so it will be one less excuse the dealer has to claim otherwise.

Of course, if it is the controller, let me know so I can make it right.

    Regards,

    Steve

Just to confirm i switched the plugs over and the right exhaust valve is still stuck open, Its due its service in a couple of months so will just leave the valves open until then and remove the Forza just before it goes in.

    Thanks for the diagnostic advise
