Does anyone know the color code for the front diffuser? can it be repainted without removing?
It looks like the whole bumper would have to come off to get to the diffuser....

    FRONT diffuser?
I'm guessing you either mean the rear diffuser, or the front winglets.

WSM notes the bumper has to come off, the bolt through the front bumper cover to 3 bolt studs with 10mm nuts. It may be possible to get at the bolts with the front lower shield removed.

Thanks for the reply and that's what I was afraid off......don't think that amount of work is warranted at this time just to take care of some minor chips that will most likely reappear in no time.
Any suggestions on how to protect this area from chips? Clear bra? ...tks

Why don't you get some paint to match and then use a very fine artists paint brush and touch up the stone chips.

It will probably be an acceptable improvement

You need special paint for the winglets. Because they are flexible the paints has to also flex. If you use regular paint it will crack

Tks for reply......do like the CF winglets.....i did have my body shop guy respray the winglets in place. Didnt have to remove anything, just made sure he preped and taped area carefully. He did an amazing job, looks factory original, just wandering what preventive messure i can take to avoid going thru this again. Will get clear bra on hood and bumper but not sure if winglets can be done or if it will affect flexibility and intended purpose.

Clear bra can be applied to winglets. The film is thin and flexible, so I don't believe it will impact functionality. But I am a consumer not installer, so YMMV.

BTW, my installer says one should wait to apply paint protection film if the paint is fresh.
