My fingers were getting stuck every time I press the Reverse gear button, pretty much every time I get into the car, and I was getting annoyed. So I researched some options online.

-StickyRx, StickNoMore, offering around $300 for 3 buttons.
-Ebay selling for $70 per button, but you cannot verify the quality.
-Scuderiaparts selling the entire OEM 3 button assembly at $380.

I ordered the OEM button assembly from Scuderiaparts, got it the next day, and installed in 10 min. Last two pictures show the individual button taken out from the housing. There are two plastic tabs that need to be pried out, be careful, they are plastic and you can easily break them.

The trouble is these will go sticky and you'll have to do this again, if you keep the car.

But you do avoid the several month wait at StickyRX, which is nice.

I know that this is not a permanent solution, but the original buttons lasted 10 years.

On a related note, does anyone drive with gloves on? I keep a pair of gloves in my car and always drive with them on. I originally did this because my hands are sweaty and oily and I didn't want that to ruin my steering wheel. But now I'm wondering if that might help with the sticky buttons too. I've not had that problem with my car (yet). :knocks on wood:

I could never bring myself to wear gloves while driving.... I'd have to punch myself in the face if caught doing that..... HOWEVER, now I can let you all in on a little secret to prevent sticky buttons... (other than the obvious of not leaving it in full sun too long, too often).... I keep a nice plush microfiber in the car and when I click the 5 or 6 required buttons upon start up, USE THE RAG to press and not your oily finger....PM me for address to send tip$$ to.

I have gloves in all my cars for the colder days since I always drive with the top down. I've had a couple buttons in my 2014 458 Spider go sticky. The reverse button was the worst, obviously I probably use it once or twice per drive. My PS (Launch Control) button was also sticky and I have never used it. Fairly easy to clean with a 250 lumen flashlight (to see the sticky) and the above mentioned OxiClean.

I believe it does. I wear Autodromo wooden wheel gloves to help keep the interior nice. Mainly to preserve the steering wheel. These gloves also breathe the best compared to other gloves I have tried.
