458 458 Gearbox Wiring Harness and O2 sensor

Hello! Looking for a little help if possible. I have a 2010 458 with a CIL that is throwing codes P2231 (O2 sensor signal circuit shorted to heater circuit bank 1 sensor 1) and P2243 (O2 sensor reference voltage circuit/open bank 1 sensor 1) and has a slight miss at idle associated with it. I replaced the bank 1 sensor 1 O2 sensor with no change. So, I figured there must be some short in the wiring harness or bad plug. After looking everything over closely I found damaged wires on one of the wiring harnesses in the same area where the bank 1 sensor 1 plugs into, but is not directly routed to this harness. I thought is has to be the issue, but after pulling the numbers off the harness I discover this is the DCT gearbox wiring harness #263810. My question is, could this harness still be the cause of my issue? Could one of these damaged wires somehow be in the circuit for this O2 sensor? Of course I pulled the wiring harness and am going to replace it regardless due to the damage, but I’m just not sure if this is the cause of my issue. I’m not having any transmission issues that I am aware.

It looks like whoever installed the Fi cat-back exhaust must have touched the wiring harness with the soldering gun. You can see the Fi controller sitting right above that harness.
