    ALMS GT2 rules are pretty strict about "advanced" brake systems like the ones on the McLaren. Only calipers, disks, pads, fluid, etc can be changed for the most part.

    How are they going to regulate turbo boost? Any other turbos in GT3?

    You're absolutely right. All cars are normally aspirated in GT3. And GT2, for that matter.

    I understand the ACO has just announced GT is now called GTE and they're adding a Am division that allows year-old cars. The Pro division of GTE is "anything goes" but that's as far as current year homologation.

    I totally forgot about the boost aspect.

    Now let me try too wrap my brain around this ok? Does that mean if the McLaren wants to compete in 2012 they must compete in the Pro Division of GTE yet also race in 2011 for homologation? Sorry but I find these things rather confusing sometimes and need the dumbed down version lol!!
