    Recently bought a 2010 458 (Black/Cuoio); had a bit of a rocky start with some electrical glitches but got new software upgrades and now all is well - remarkable car. Has anyone found that the headlights don't project very far unless on high beams? Seems it is very easy to "outdrive" the headlights at highway speeds.

    I haven't driven her much at night. I will pay attention next time. Does it have AFIS? Perhaps that needs to be checked considering the electronic gremlins.

    It's an option that adjusts your headlights with the steering wheel input.

    Regardless, your issue may be as simple as having the lights aligned. The owners manual should contain a page on the measurement of light output parked perpendicular to a wall, if the "line" is too high or low, they will need to be adjusted.

    If you don't know you probably don't have it. :) It's an option to move the headlights in different situations, including up and down.

    If you have the front lift system, it's a requirement.

    No, I haven't noticed any difference.

    It's a safety issue and covered under warranty. It's an easy check for the dealers.
