    Can someone please tell me what this circled object is behind my passenger seat in my 458? It’s pressing up against the leather seat and I’m worried it’ll damage the leather. Thanks for any advice.

    It's a LATCH tether for a child car seat :)
    You can probably just remove it, although I don't know how big of a hole it leaves.
    Cheap insurance for the meantime, jam a plastic bottle cap on it so it can't tear the leather

    Another option would be to add a harness bar, which attaches to that point, and also might add a little rigidity to chassis.

    Interesting. My 2015 US delivered 458 Spider does not have this.

    yes it used to bother me because it broke up the rear shelf now i don't even notice it

    My seat is gouged due to that harness. Previous owner had the seat backed all the way against the harness.
