Has anyone seen this car in person: Ferrari : 458 in Ferrari | eBay Motors It is very different and beautiful and looks well optioned. I am tempted....
Been for sale for sometime. I think the owner had second thoughts after receiving it -- at least I would!
I may need to fly down to see it. Not a combo that I think I could get without seeing it. Something to consider however... I always thought that nothing other than red would appeal to me...
You can really deal on this car. I don't think many would be interested. But, I think resale would be really really tough so get the best deal you can. If you want to see one of the nicest 458 spiders I've seen, I saw it today at Wynn Penske in Vegas. TDF with Cuoio and full racing package... And the racing seats are in Daytona pattern. Only 400 miles Unbelievable looking car. It's not advertised.
Honestly, I think that'd be an outstanding color combo on an FF (or even an F12). British Racing Green just looks odd on an mid-engine Ferrari though...
Dealer is asking just under $388k. Any ideas how much a premium this might be over MSRP? It's not easy being green, but to some, it may be better than waiting a year if ordering one instead. To people who are red/green colorblind, it's the same as a red one!
hunter greens are my favorite for most things, not all Ferraris though. I think it looks good on the 456, I would have to see this one in person.
I have seen and sat in it. The owners car, very well cared for. The color was a turn-off for me....screams AM, not Ferrari.
OMG ... go to Penske and get the blue TDF with racing package. Almost the same price I understand. Ask yourself which would be easier to resell. That's not a good reason to buy a color (you should buy what you want) but seriously.... it's a limited market for that green car -- there is no question about that.
Ha. Good luck with that. That is not a good color on the car and the market for it is tiny and made up of people who mainly would want it simply because they think they could get a good deal on it. You'll never be able to sell that thing at anything less than a steal of a deal. I like green, but it looks like **** on that car.
Many Ferraris scream "I have arrived!" on behalf of their owners. This one says "I have always been here and I am really not sure what all of the fuss is about."
All I have to say is why in the world would anybody spec out a car as beautiful as the 458 in that color? No accounting for peoples taste. Stay away from that color unless you want to keep it for a long long long long and I mean long time. Extremely limited number of buyers who would be interested in that car if you ever wanted to sell it.
We cannot discuss each one taste. But I have the feel that only people who can't afford it would want to buy it!
Isn't the TdF with Cuoio in LV the same Spider that was here on Ferrari Ads? The owner also has/had for sale a 458 in Silverstone to... CH
I didn't say I would buy it! I was just curious to see how much of a premium they were asking for, as an indication of how much they thought someone might be willing to pay to avoid waiting to order one, despite its non-mainstream color. I agree that if someone were to buy it, they would really have to like the color and/or not care that re-selling it would be very difficult.
someone had to buy it to start. or maybe they couldn't when delivered. I think red is the best color on Ferraris, but sometimes you just don't want another red Ferrari.
