Having to replace my battery as it is getting old. Does the car need reprogramming once the battery is swapped out? or can one just drop a new battery?

    thank you

No, but you do need to follow the reconnect procedure in the owner's manual.

I've been thinking about getting an Antigravity battery. I'd love to know how long it realistically can keep a charge WITHOUT using the battery tender.

I've gone three weeks without a tender, fired right up with no hesitation. You realistically could go as long as you want since it does have the power reserve to "jump" itself after shut-off. Swapping to an AG battery is the FIRST thing I do now on any F car I pick up!
