Firstly, I apologize for asking a dumb question. I put about 2 oz of Stabil in my 458 using the plastic funnel. A small amount did not go down the filler tube, but down the overflow line. Where does liquid go after entering that line? Into the tank? I did not see any evidence of liquid on the floor of the garage. Schematic diagram anyone? Thanks in advance.

Yes, hose #20 of the diagram. I was fearing that the liquid would end at some undesirable place and might contaminate the body underside or chassis. I may place an absorbent material under the car and flush the line with some warm soapy water. Sorry for such an anal question. The Ferrari engineers thought of every circumstance I'm sure, so I apologize to them also. Regards, John

If the amount spilled was small enough, it could just wick to the internal walls of the tube and never reach the outlet (even if it was all downhill) -- no worries IMO.

Thanks for finding the right diagram and correcting my initial post! This is spot on I'd say... It was such a small amount it wasn't enough to drain from the tube which would lead to the ground to drain without damaging the car.
