Just trying to provide you some assistance with your search. IMHO, I've always believed it's best to list the mandatory and preferred options, and if you have a price range, you may find someone with your desired vehicle sitting in their garage that they're ready to unload. Often times, at a price under market.

We all have our own techniques when buying. Good luck with your purchase and I hope you get what you want. Regardless, it's a 458 and you can't go wrong!

Heads-up... There's a 2010 Ferrari 458 with 21,000 miles for only $168K on Craigslist in San Jose, California.

 

Is there any chance that hasn't been crashed?

 

And/or is a scam?

 

What are the service records?

I got a 2011 458 Italia with only 3300 miles that I recently purchased, I am the second owner but I need closer to $225K. It's pretty optioned out. Thinking of buying one of the last 458's made from a local dealer.

 

Who would post a Ferrari for sale on Craig's list?

I'm not sure if they still do, but a few years ago, Ferrari of Denver put cars for sale on Craig's list.

 

I like your approach. A car with miles can be bought cheaper and then ..... you are liberated from the prison of 'I can't drive it too much because ....'. Its a shame all these cars are not enjoyed more. One day we will all be dead and the barely driven car sitting in the garage won't mean jack squat. When I shopped and bought my Testarossa I specifically wanted a car with more miles.

 

+1. So many scams going on at Craigslist. I'd be weary of this one. Sounds a bit cheap. Make an inquiry and if the guy says hes selling for someone else, or the car is located in a different state or country, there you go.

Stopped over at Silicon Valley Ferrari and they have a beautiful black 2011 coupe for $229 with 8k miles. Love the car but really want one with the race seats which this car did not have.
