Is that all of the F430 Challenge cars??? Only 8 or 10 it seems like. BIG difference compared to the 14-16 in the past years. Neat to see the 458 as a pace caar. I'm going tomorrow so I'll see it then. :)

G.B. you are correct. The numbers are way down. Same time last year, at Road Atlanta, there were about 25 cars starting. Today's race had 12. I have a feeling that number will be 11 tomorrow :(

I think FNA surprised everyone by putting that 458 out there. It was brought off the trailer only an hour or so before the race. Also, make sure to stop by Scott Tucker's trailer. He brought along a F430 GT2. He tracked it during practice on Friday. Nothing today. Maybe tomorrow?

BTW - If you see me in my rental black Kia SUV with the "Maximum Ferrari" magnet on the side, please stop me and say hello. I'm also wearing the #16 media vest.

    Ciao!

Thanks for the heads up Edward! If you see me, I also ask that you stop me and say hello. I will be wearing a red Ferrari polo shirt, red F430 hat, designer jeans, and my red Ferrari Pumas. I'm 18 so...ya! :) I look forward to seeing you at the races! :)

People may roll their eyes at me for for saying this, but that may have been my favorite F car there. I get overwhelmed with all red cars. They start to look the same to me after a while, lol.

I may go back today. One of my buddies is coaching one of the top 3 from yesterday. There are more cars there already.... There's also a 599 GTO (the only 1 in the US) hidden somewhere for select clientele. Would be nice to get access. :)

Interesting way Ferrari is marketing the new 458...house party and the race tracks. Leave no stone unturned in the search for that 599 GTO!

At next year's challenge races they'll be there for sure. This is the last year for the 430s. We should hopefully start seeing them around soon enough though. ;)
