458 Italia Rear Glass

Oh man, sorry that happened. I suspect something hit the glass….

 

No obvious point of impact. From the craze pattern that looks like it just shattered, perhaps due to a combination of vibration, temp fluctuations + mfg fault. Hope the replacement isn’t too painful.

 

That’s wild, sorry to see! You mentioned no obvious point of impact but the whole top edge is missing and a section from the lower right area. Not sure what it takes to do this, but seems something with appreciable velocity had to have hit it. Unless the car managed to produce some natural frequency harmonic vibration into the structure. But such an incident would seemingly have been observed before and potentially been a recall issue.
Look closely for projectile damage under the missing areas of glass.
