I need to temporarily swap out a set of tires on my 458 spider - and cannot find any detailed photos on where the jack should be placed underneath the car. I have seen earlier threads from a few years ago but they are not precise. Obviously i do not want to lift the car at an incorrect point and puncture anything or damage the underside. Really appreciate any specific guidance.

Use hockey pucks on top of the Jack pad. You may need to drive the rear wheels onto 2x10 planks to get more clearence. Pucks just fit without affecting the underpan. The rear Jack point is all you should need as the front wheel also raises when you lift from the rear.

Remove the black rubber cap in the under chassis before jacking then replace afterwards. Hockey pucks work great and also add to min height of your jack.

Are there any Jack stands with a little spike to go into the holes for extra security instead of using a puck?
