What is the best way to attach my front licence plate to a 458? The police have come down hard in my area to make sure you have one. I guess it is the law in some states

I bought one of those old school rubber temporary plate holders that dealerships use and clamp into the trunk. It's perfect to pop in place when parking to prevent a ticket but I don't use it while driving around.

Agree, plate clips isn't active also from what I've heard due to passing of the owner.

Thanks for posting. What depth do I need for Spider and should I worry about the 2 small underside holes that are required? I had a leftover tow-hook mount from my California but it blocks the right Laser Interceptor sensor on my Spider. It also doesn't look too good on the Spider IMO. Plus, I'd rather risk a no front plate ticket than a speeding ticket.

I daily drive my Spider and really it's a matter of time and statistics before I get ticketed.

here's another alternative. have a history of failure to display front plate tickets/warnings....judge told me she thinks it's a dumb law(and she has been ticketed for it too!!!).

Now that I think of it, I'm not sure the Skene will work with a 458. It would need to mount to the bottom lip, and I'm not sure the spacing would work. I suggest contacting Skene to see what they say.

Time for all the Ferrari owning movers and shakers in these front-plate-states and countries to get these laws repealed !

There has got to be enough data from the no-front-plate-states to show they are not needed...

You can try that, but will get significant push-back for front plates because they're handy targets for red light cameras and LIDAR.
