    I've seen three Ring times posted for the 458. One of 7 minutes 38 secs (vs. 7/39 for the Scud) both by 'Sportauto' test drivers. Two other times by independent test drivers, one 7/31, the other 7/28. Can anyone clarify?

    Maybe the weather was different - maybe the driver was more skilled - what sort of an answer are you looking for ?

    Independent test drives mean little since they cannot be compared with other cars (different drivers, set-ups, even specs). The advantage of Sport Auto times is that they can be all compared: same driver.

    Perhaps the fastest time the 458 has done around the ring?
