    All,
I might not have this in the right form but, have any of you washed your covers? Mine is getting dirty but wanted to know if I should wash it or possibly get it dry cleaned? I'm thinking that dry cleaning would destroy it as I think it's made of polyester.

I use Simple Green -- a couple of ounces in a big commercial washer. Pretty gentle stuff but reasonably effective.

Go as gentle as you can.

i put mine inside a mesh washing bag. then it goes into a large washing machine.

you can also wash it by hand in a bath tub. let it soak for a few hours and just stump it around :)

use a small amount car detergent instead of clothes detergent.

I posted a thread a few months back about a "garage accident" where in my cat used my car cover to urinate on. The fact that it was on my spider at the time just added to the pleasure. Needless to say I had to wash it. I threw it in my washing machine. I used the cold and knit settings to minimize damage to the 2 cavallinos. Cover came through the wash and dry cycle with no shrinkage or problems. I believe there are washing instructions on the cover and dry cleaning is NOT recommended.
