Is there a quick and easy way to increase the spacing between the gas and brake pedal on a 458. I have been driving a friends and caught the bug and I have really wide feet. I keep getting my shoes caught between the two even in a tighter driving shoe.

My ownership has been older cars where I can easily just make or buy a thinner pedal that works.

NOTE: I am sure there is a solution I just have my eye on a specific car about 500 miles away and thought I would fly and drive with my wife as a mini vacation.

Quick and easy, I don’t think so. Widening the gap between pedals will require at least a R&R of the brake pedal.

That is unfortunate. I guess I need to look at some really tight shoes for the drive back if it passes inspection. I have been looking online and have not seen any aftermarket pedals so l guess they must not be attached with a simple bolt in the rear.

Dedicated driving shoes tend to have a narrower profile. Maybe you can see if you can find a comfortable pair that fits you?

You can do this job.remove the screws on brake pedal, and select it to other hohles.than you have more space between both Pedals.

I know the 488 and F8 pedals are adjustable side to side. I have heard the 458 are too but I do not know for sure.

I'd love to be able to left foot brake in my 458. Any info is welcome!

Yes, as Baitschev said above, it is actually very easy. The brake pedal cover has two screws with locking nuts on the back that go through the pedal cover, attaching it to the pedal. Use two tools, one for the front and one for the back (so the nut doesn't turn with the screw). Once removed, slide the cover one hole over and screw it tight. Voila, all done. Takes about 5 minutes. I had to do this too and it is SO much more comfortable with the extra space.

That I can do no problem then if I fly out or have them do it. that is fantastic. Thank you for all the help, now the dreaded wait for the inspection report. But with 14K miles I don;t expect many issues.
