Congrats! It certainly is a beautiful specimen. In terms of carbon, I wouldn't bother. The ROI on adding that won't be worth it.

I've bought a few cars off BaT. For transport, I've used Montway twice and both times were a good experience.

Congrats. There are peeps here who have swapped out the couches for race seats. You could do that and return to stock when time comes to sell. Would look hot.

Congratulations! Welcome to the 458 owners club. Love the car and low miles too! Take your time no rush to change the bolts they don't look bad to me. Just do it at your leisure, it's fun to turn some wrenches on your own car. Great thing about the 458 is you can do some things your self its one of the easier and lower maintenance Ferrari's out there if you can say that! You can always add the racing seats after the fact if you really want them. Only thing is they did not come with the car on the original build. The Daytona seats are still nice looking especially in the red color(I am partial to red interiors). Enjoy your new car if you hang on to it it should be a good investment financially as well as an investment in many miles of pleasure.

    Thank you guys so much.

If I would look to add race seats, does anyone know a good place to source them? Or you just have to wait to see if they come up for sale in the same color as your interior?

Also I can see Novitec offers a lowering kit + a front axle hydraulic lift, could be a good aftermarket option but I know modding ferrari's seems frowned upon.

I think suspension and also exhaust don't really fall into that category, it's not something where you will see a return which could be said for any mods but it doesn't necessarily take away value which is the real issue when it comes to modding exotics. For myself personally who is in the market for a 458 I would be happy to see someone added a lifter on it, lowering not so much but only because I'm in Michigan with our horrendous roads.

Race Seats are hard to come by on the used market and when they do, you have to be very careful because of all the scam sellers out there. In addition, Ferrari will need to reprogram your car I believe when you switch from power Daytona's to manual race seats. You can buy new race seats, but they will be very expensive.

You can lower the car without modding it, probably not as much as Novitec. See if you can get an extended warranty from a dealer on the car. Mod the car however your like but any non OEM parts on the car may lower its value depending on the buyer if that is a concern for you. I would not buy a Ferrari with non-OEM parts (exhaust is an exception), but Francis above would.

There is a used set in black on eBay currently for $22,000 seems like a lot for used seats and you also will have to have them recovered to match prob another 5,000. I don't think it would be worth it unless you really want race seats but its an option but for 25K+ i think i would pass

Dustman, snatched up the Spider we were considering. I couldn't figure out why the Dealership wouldnt return my calls :)

Ended up finding one with 6300 miles, lift, and carbon rear bumper (which looks absolutely killer). Delivered last month.

Super cool car, no shields, great color. No service history or dealer visits since 2022, so needs oil, filters, brake flush, coolant flush and, if it were mine, I would do the DCT fluids and battery as well. Also needs all the stickies addressed, which will not be inexpensive. Just 2,700 miles in 14 years, hope the buyer gets it on the road and drives it.

A little odd that the front bumper has no side lights but original owner says it was ordered through Miller in CT that way. (I thought that was a US requirement?) Perhaps someone can run the VIN# and see the full spec list? ZFF67NFA0B0176991

He put Euro bumpers on it to get rid of ugly side marker reflectors. I did same on mine and am quite happy with the result.
