Auction pricing can get out of hand? I prefer normal sales (non-auction)? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Absolutely untrue.. it is a TERRIBLE indicator of market value…. Jeez, it shouldn’t even be considered into market value actually. (Thankfully, it barely is) Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
38.8% said prices going up!?! oh my, yes at a lower rate compared to the turbo cars, but mainly because the 458 didn't have as far to fall. almost everything is going down right now.
Irrelevant either way… use private sales, dealer sales and Manheim/MMR reports combined to determine values of cars. BAT is simply a private company that sells other people cars and takes a profit… using that to gauge value is exactly the same as taking a single dealers sales and averaging them… and that makes no sense Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I actually didn’t post the article I just responded about it Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I throw that out there all the time too! As well as the Schumacher input on wheel, F1 winglets, last N/A V8 and others… Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I think BAT is a good gauge, but gets skewed by some that sell the cars low, because they simply need the money….. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Ha! Was just going to post this w/ 18k on the clock (highish Ferrari wise) and it had 4 previous owners! Strong https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2013-ferrari-458-spider-24/
Thoughts on this on gents? Thinking $175K at best? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2010-ferrari-458-italia-22/
I'd say $160 for that year model. Here is one that I can't figure out the catch on. Seems WAY too cheap for a '13 spyder? https://teamonemotorcars.com/2013-ferrari-458-italia-base-marietta-ga-30067/6560242
It's nice and has been lowered like mine here in this pic. Mine has a Novitec suspension, do you know what that one has? It has a ALOT of owners, so I think you are in the ballpark $ wise.
seems you were about $20K off...went for $191K + 5K fee thats $196,000 , 458 went up astronomically over 30-35% and have come down a bit and leveled off..still about 20% 25% price hike over covid
Another decent spec 2011 with 23,000 miles just sold on BAT for $191,000 including auction fees 2015 sub 5,000 mile Spiders cars always get good money The older, higher mileage (by Ferrari standards) coupes are getting strong money now as well Maybe. Hard to tell.
About that wheel… I was interested in FF or 812 or something V12 but then I realized all the cars after 458 have the same interior impression as a 458 - same wheel, same race seats. Really turned me off to having 2 cars of this era. But I don’t want a timing belt car either. So just 458 then. 458 as it is barely fits in my garage. I don’t think a V12 would fit actually
