    Due to the low frequency of the noise, probably one of the tires is cupped. Have you gotten them looked into?

    It sounds like the tire treads are checked, but I can't see how that could happen with a mid-engine car. I would try to put the bearings under a load to see if the sound gets louder.

    EDIT: I had a problem just like this with one of my NSX's and couldn't figure it out. So my friend suggested swapping the tires completely. He brought over four tires and wheels from another NSX and, in the course of removing my tires/wheels from the car to swap them out, we discovered that one of my rear tires had a huge bubble on the inside side wall. We never would have caught it if he hadn't thought of that test.

    One or the other. You will need to investigate further. Either way it could end in a failure that may be unsafe. Have it checked sooner than later.
