Hi everyone, I have a 2013 458 Spider. The engine idles at 3000rpm in 7th gear in Sports mode but doesn't have this issue in race mode. It's also hesitant in shifting between 3rd-5th gear in sports mode. In Race mode, the car drives perfectly fine. What could be the issue?
Take it to the dealer or a qualified shop and have it scanned. In the mean time I wouldn't be driving it. These DCT boxes are expensive to fix and are becoming more and more of a problem as these cars get older. Just wait until the 488 turbos and plastic everything starts to fail...customer has an oil leak from his 488..cam cover gasket. 21k. So the dealer quoted..enjoy!!
