My Italia has too much sound deadening. I end up driving around with the windows down and the valves open.

I don't really want to install a louder exhaust when the factory one is plenty loud on the outside.

I don't really want to move to a spyder. I like the Italia.

I am wondering if anyone has considered replacing the rear cabin window with plastic instead of glass? Seems like that would increase the engine noise making its way to the cabin without tearing apart the interior. Any other solutions besides rolling the windows down in 100 degree weather?

I was reading today that the Speciale has a lexan rear screen. Can anyone confirm? Lexan should transmit more sound than the glass in the Italia.

Speciale doesn’t sound as good as Italia.
Spider has a LOT of flex but man does it sound by far the best inside the cabin. Epic.
    Get exhaust for Italia honestly.

Your only practical options for the most part are 1. Exhaust modifications of sorts 2. Change of sound deadening materials. As above exhaust mods are probably least obtrusive. Most practical of all would exhaust valve mods, high flow cats & put your windows down. Personally I love the sounds of my 458 with Capristo, widows down. I certainly would not put in a Lexan rear window with a slide opening.
