Hi guys, I've been reading a lot about Speciales and I think it's time to seriously look for one.
As every Ferrari, you will get crazy about all this options.

Can you please point me in the right direction and educate me what are the must haves options and what I need to look at for a good example.

    Thanks

Must have stripe. Must know that when you get one you will never want to let it go. Oh and must have cf engine bay 👍🏻
The only spec I wish I had (but by no means a must have) is electronic folding mirrors. Didn't know it was an option that needed to be checked when I was spec'ing mine.

Above my price range. Nice color though.
Will match perfectly my white RS.

Only thing I would say is:

The Stripe - IMO truly sets the car apart from everything else.

Anything else , it's up to what you like ( or want ) how can you go wrong?

Next time you are in the area, stop by Boardwalk Ferrari , I am betting we can get the car you want!

I think it is easier to say what no to get. If I were in the market for one, I would cross these off the list as useless -

    - Radio
    - Sat / bluetooth
    - Homelink
    - Track Camera
    - Hi/low emissions
    - Exhaust tips
    - cruise control

Everything else is up to you

I prefer a striped speciale like my scud. There is one other thing I would like, a cruise control.

Why? I drive 300 miles in between homes and it's tiring to keep on pressing the gas for 5 hrs. Unfortunately, it will be driven more but I don't care.

It's surprising how many colors speciales are compared to scuds. Ummm, which one do I pick?

The radio/satellite/nav is a no cost option for US spec car and it is very hard to delete. Just ask Rick (720). I doubt if you can find any any without this option. Track camera is good option if you plan to track the car often or if you just want to record a scenic drive (I have this on mine). Agree with the rest of the above options that you don't need. The other high cost options that were not available on the Scud are the lifter and the back up camera which I don't think you need if you have had no problem driving your scud without the lifter or the backup camera. The backup sensor is definitely useful but you cannot order the backup sensor alone without the backup camera (I tried but could not on mine).

That's strange. My 2014 Speciale has a backup sensor without a backup camera....

I couldn't order the sensors separately from the camera either. I was told that it was a change for 2015. The nav, Bluetooth, and stereo was also a standard combined North America package for 2015.

Looks to me there are a lot more speciale in white than in scuds. And they are really beautiful in a speciale than a scud IMO. It's very nontraditional in a ferrari.

False advertising. My Speciale is hands down the hottest Speciale built :)

From what I was told you can't have the backup camera alone. It has to be paired with backup sensor. Having backup sensor only was an option.

Good luck with the search. I can assure you of one thing, if it has a radio, you wont ever use for the following two reasons
    : it sounds terrible
: the engine sounds too good

Ive had my Speciale for 5 days now and I can say the most important improvements of this car is having:

    Cruise control
    Cup holder
    electric side mirrors
    garage door opener

Imagine my Nissan Pathfinder has all of these!!!

What is MSRP of a Speciale with little to no options? Just above $300k?

Buying a base model has everything already to enjoy it. The options are for visual pleasure only.

I agree with this...the "race" versions, should deliberately be sparse and Spartan.
I would LOVE to get a low optioned Speciale around $320k!
