I couldn't agree more, the 60s F1 cars were off-the-scale beautiful. But that doesn't make IMO gold winglets on a Speciale any less off-the-scale naff today. Mine remain boring normal carbon fibre.

... I was at my local Ferrari dealer in Germany this week and he is just offering an used 458 Speciale with nearly 20,000 km and a price which is approx. EUR 60,000 higher than new ... according to the sales manager prices are still increasing for this type ...

Is that at Saggio? Their prices always seems to be higher than market for some reason...

A friend's Speciale in Rosso Mugello. This evening's sunset painted lovely colors on the car. Wish I had my real camera with me.

Is there an up-charge to spec blue carbon over standard black carbon?

The price seems fair for the options on that Speicale. It is stunning.

Mine has full carbon spec inside and out - to change it all to blue was A$27k. That's with Australian taxes which are probably higher than most places. I think you can choose to change the colour on just interior or exterior if you want but I thought I may as well go all the way. The other option that was about the same price is the track cam and telemetry combo - will be interested to see how well they work as I've read different accounts on Fchat.

Yes TDF with a standard NART stripe with the Nart blue centre (look closely). I optioned my stripe to be TDF centre to match the rest of the car. Glad I picked up the subtal difference otherwise that would have always annoyed me. I actually think this forum might have alerted me during my research! Thanks Fchat :)
