458 Speciale Revealed

Tbh, the first two pics could be anyone's Speciale. First pic is front-ish end view with bare chassis car in its undercoat. Ferrari call it "Location Paintwork". You see one, you've seen them all.

Second pic is side on view and is called "Location Start of Assembly Line". One can just about make out the colour.

Final pic is "Location End of Assembly Line". This is pic I posted, the site tells me it was taken on 18 July. Given the rear bumper is missing I hope it's not literally the end of assembly

The first two pics no longer show dates taken, from memory the first pic was sent to me late June. Pics are a neat idea but I would have liked a fourth pic with the car finally ready to be shipped.

i see an option for "front air vents in carbon fiber" (fender louvers) in the online configurator, but i haven't been able to find a price listed for this option. anybody know the cost in the USA?

Thank you. I also saw those items on an options price list that's been floating around. Typical ferrari in that even simple things are never quite simple. Always a bit of confusion. LOL. Their online configurator shows those "fender louvers" as being available in carbon fiber with a description of "front air vents in carbon fiber". If I had to guess I'd guess that the "CEXG carbon fiber front bumper air intake" is probably the right answer.

 

My car has the fender vents and the front bumper lower aero devices all in carbon. On my order sheet there is only the CEFS option, not the CEXG, I believe CEFS covers all of those parts.
