458 Spider Audio Upgrade

Bose stereo on 458 Spider really lacks some good tunes. I was looking for stock looking install with minimal compromise for already tight space. Scuderia Audio solution seemed promising, so I contacted, and got connected with Mike right away. Mike was very knowledgeable, and extremely pleasant to deal with. He replied to all of my concerns promptly throughout the entire process.

Speakers, classic 5 channel active:
-Dynaudio Esotar2 650, 6.5 in woofers
-Focal TN51 Tweeters
-Focal Utopia Be 21WX, 8 in sub

Scuderia Gears:
-8 in sub enclosure in Ferrari leather and matching stitching
-Mosconi 6/8 DSP AMP kit: factory harness, amp rack
-Custom made door woofer housing for Dynaudio
-Carbon fiber tweeter housings

Required Disassembly (Not easy, intermediate level):
-Removal of entire center console
-Rear bench carpet removal
-Entire glove compartment, and passenger side lower dash trim
-HVAC control unit removal
-L&R Door interior panels

The installation journey was overall fun for me, but it is not for novice. There are many screws, fasteners, connectors in a very tight work space. Since Ferrari parts are relatively expensive, so there are some added thrill of trying not to break anything.

The sound is awesome, and I am satisfied. It will depend on speakers, and how well you tune the DSP, but Mosconi Amp delivers ample power even when the top is down. The amp surprisingly offers adequate dynamics, power, and sound quality. Highly recommended Mike's solution for those who wants minimal invasion, stock look, able to convert back to stock, and fill the 458's cabin with quality sound and volume even when the top is down.
