458 458 Spider car cover -- different from Italia?

    The 458 Italia car cover has a different part number (84180000) from the Spider cover (84180100). To my (apparently) untrained eye, the cars look pretty similar. Is there really much difference between the two covers? And if there isn't, why would Ferrari bother making two different parts with two different part numbers? Has anyone tried to use an Italia cover on a Spider, or vice versa? Results?

    They are different. Even the spider windscreen is a different size than the coupe.

    Yea, found out when ordered film for my windscreen. Manufacture sent for coupe, and was wrong size for my spider.
    That said, it may not make much difference with car cover if customer fit isn’t required for you.

    Not sure what you mean by "customer fit", but I know my Cali T cover was a little stretchy, so minor differences between the cars shouldn't be an issue. Was hoping that someone with a Spider has/uses an Italia cover and could weigh in on whether it's a pain to get it on or it works fine.
