    Hey everyone,

    Does anyone know if there will be a secluded and secret unveiling of the 458 Spider during the Monterey weekend?

    Just wondering since I know they did the same thing with the California and SA Aperta.

    No idea, but should probably reword the title of the post or put a question mark, as the title suggests that there is/ was one there. A little misleading. No offense meant.

    Definitely not. The first press photos will be released the end of August and the first public showing is at the Frankfurt show in September.

    wow, end of August is just days away, if you think about it. seems surreal after waiting all this time!

    From a very credible source of mine, I have been told that the 458 Spider will sport a retractable metal roof similar to the California, and it will have slats instead of glass on the engine cover.
