Does anyone know if it’s possible to take off and replace the engine manifold on a spider without having to drop out the engine and if so how? Attached is the instructions for how it is done on the coupe. Any help is greatly appreciated

    Hi Simon -

You need to stop working on your car!!!! LOL:p:D

From what I can ascertain, you simply need to activate the top in order to move the buttress to it's fully opened position (prior to the two piece roof folding back into it's stored position). Then remove the "tray" in which the roof normally sits when retracted and you should have full access to the top of the engine. What is interesting is that the owners manual states that you should not leave the top partially retracted for more than 10 mins. I'm sure that a Ferrari service center does this much longer than 10 mins in order to service the top of the engine.

    Hope this helps.
