Hi! I have 458 spider 2015, I love it, really cool baby! ) everything went fine, but... Couple of days ago multimedia system went down (Navi, radio, IPod, right screen menu, even clock)... I used to have it on right TFT hand screen... And when I left car in garage after driving it in the evening, it was ok... But next day after I started the car I could see only speedometer there, and cannot turn on the multimedia system or navi pushing the main on/off button on the right...

Now if I try to change the view of right screen from the left screen (there's such possibility), I can do this- but only digital or analog speedometer... But I can't turn on multimedia system or have menu on the right screen...

I was trying to charge the battery through the night and to disconnect/reconnect the battery but nothing helped...

Brought it to the dealer, they checked it for half an hour, but told me nothing helps (battery is ok, fuses are ok).... So they don't know what's wrong... Told me that they were going to send request to the factory and ask what they could do to fix it... Offered me to bring the car next week...

Did anyone have this issue? What to expect? Replacing the whole system?

    Any thoughts? Thank you

Thank you for the answer! Yesterday gave it to the dealer, now waiting... They are still keeping silence... Told the one thing I was a little surprised- factory doesn't know either how it could happen...

So it will take like one week to replace the dash? Or more?

    I had identical symptoms on a 2013 458 Spider.

The right screen would only show the speed, rendering all infotainment unusable.

The whole unit was replaced under warranty - Took about 8 weeks to sort, in the end my dealer ripped a unit out of another car, as it was taking too long to try and fix the unit piece by piece. Keep track of it and if it's taking too long to repair go for that option !

Finally got the answer from the dealer- the unit itself is faulty, so they will demount it and send it to make a repair, then mount again... Saying it will take a week.. At least ( so we'll see

    Thank you for the answers

So, my issue has been solved! It took exactly one week to repair the unit! I'm really glad! Dealer did good job fulfilling their promises!! Thanks to everybody!
