    I have a 2014 458. I just purchased a new GoPro Black. I'm looking at getting some telemetry software. Suggestions?

    "telemetry"?? I assume you mean data logger, for use with track sessions?

    Video Vbox seems popular with folks here, personally I've had great experiences with the AIM setup (SmartyCam HD, connected to a logger and into the CAN lines). It's about the size of a GoPro As a standalone, there are several apps you can download into your iPhone (Harry's is one) that are decent.

    GoPro will get you video. IF you want "data", you'll need to get a decent setup. ProCoach (Peter Krause) on here does this for a living, I'd talk to him.

    BTW Ferrari actually sells a version of the SmaryCam GP, with a bullet camera, complete with a custom console, as an aftermarket part. IIRC it is called "DataRace".

    IF all you want is video, the GoPro is fine. The loggers are obviously more expensive but provide the information to improve as a driver.

    This one which is installe in my 458 ?

    Pitty the quality of this 5 year old Smartycam is so poor ... there is now also an internal battery problem with it ... :(

    And a new one which can be HD quality is way out of line for $ 2200 ... Vids only ? Get a Hero Black !
