458 throttle

I have a 2015 458. Recently when letting off the accelerator the engine rpm doesn't come down very quickly and you have to use more brake. Also, sometimes when you put it in gear the rpm increases on it's own enough to engage the DCT. When I approached a stop sign I put the car in neutral at around 25mph and the rpm started surging between 2500-3500 rpm. Has anyone had similar issues?

 

I downshift the same way and I barely need to use brakes. When the rpm fails to drop off much I am forced to use more brake. Also, when stopped and in a gear (reverse or 1st) it will sometimes have high enough rpm to engage the clutch. If I go to neutral it falls back to normal. I did watch the video on "I finally fixed my broken Ferrari" but I tested the gas pedal potentiometer and it appears to be working.

 

I like those videos also. Hopefully someone will reach out that has had this problem. It is really frustrating. I appreciate your input.
