Great ride, considering purchase. For those of you who track it, any recommendations on R compound tire and wheel combos?

Have you had any issues with trans overheating under hard driving? Other things that need attention?

You might really want to consider changing the rotors back into steel (with semi-race pads) before running the proverbial snot out of the car on track (as evidenced by the r-compound remarks). This can save dozens of thousands of dollars when you don't have to replace the CCBs.

Thanks, makes sense the consumables get expensive for sure. Yes it would be driven to its potential plus some other prep.

I track mine, but am on the stock Ferrari Bridgestone (I wanted Pirrelli but forgot to mention it when I ordered the car). I spoke to the dealer and they said "be careful as a stickier compound eats up the brakes". I tend to get about 3 hard track days (5+ sessions each day) out of the pads. So, expect changing pads after that. The rotors last about 3 pad changes. Since I have only been tracking for about 6 months and have gone a couple times, I have not needed to change rotors, yet. The claim is that you get more life out of the carbon rotors than you do iron. Essentially, the argument is that they last 3x+ longer. If that is the case, the iron is nearly the same price if you have to change out pads & rotors on iron 3 times before you change your ceramics. As such, I just left the stock ceramics on the car.

Can't argue with the math definitely something to look at. I wonder if there is much advantage to any combos available for stopping power. I should probably try and talk with some of the Challenge gang. I'd like to do a few mods so all the folks who talk about Ferrari beating, but not mentioning how modded they were and that the F was stock, get a little surprise. Hmm, R compounds and TT from Underground, there's a bucket list item for sure. A Ferrari is still a Ferrari and that speaks for itself, never should have sold the 328, loved the lines.
