I have a very annoying sizzling left window ... when 100 kmh and up it is rather disturbing.

If you slightly open rhs window it stops but then you get noise from the rhs ...

Wind wants to get out of the compartment and seeks the easiest way .... it's the upright part of the seal (pillar).

As info I must say that I had the seal off last year to get to the fusebox behind the seat to renew the fuse for the trickler socket.

Installe it back and no problem in the few following months.

Buying a new rubber costs me € 750 and no guarantee of the dealer that this will solve the problem.

He wants to charge me for two mecanics having a drive to inspect it .... :-(

Anyone who had the same ? How was that fixed ?

"Rubber" could mean a condom in the US
"Sizzling" would be the sound of when you put food on a very hot grill or pan.

Is your car a coupe or spider? Have the windows been adjusted? The windows can get misaligned. Look at your car from the outside and see if the windows look aligned with the seals.

Yes, the windows can and should be adjusted periodically.
