IMO Ferrari did not align the panels with the design of the car changing the flow. I tried to follow the lnes when "wrapping" the rocker panels. You can judge but for me, mine flows better. Also not sure if the all red car is not to "weighted down" by the shiny and (again) too much CF. We all have a eyes and values, my two cents. Best

Not a fan at all. Bleh.

I think white/black is getting a bit played out, but I agree that the white car is a much better take on the idea.

Mine has them but they are painted over. I agree that the standard CF panels that Ferrari offers are too big and cut the lines of the car.

I love the way you wrapped your white one :)

Don't care for the CF panels; agree they disrupt the beauty of the side lines.

Looks like the car isn't finished. Don't like at all. Like someone said disruptes the lines of the car.

I love the carbon side panels! I have them on the car I ordered! You like them than get them. Youre going to have people who love them and people who hate them, all that matters is what you think!

I do not like this look. It reminds me of when really old "scrap" cars are put together from other cars and each panel has a different color. That's just me but that's my reaction.

Hmm not sure, I think they were around 6-8k. I will see if I can find out. I also got the carbon fiber package for the inside and the carbon fiber rear piece that goes between the tail lights( forget what the piece is called). I got bianco Italia for paint( a layered white paint ) so I like the contrast the carbon fiber gives the vehicle

Nice wrapping ! My question is whether the wrapping film will shrink and give away as it is open ended towards the rear wheel . Thanks .

Been well over a year and nothing so far. The good thing about wrap, making it (arguably) preferable to paint, is "freedom of choice". It protects original paint, and can be removed eaily, inexpensively, and replaced with any other color(s). It cost under$400 to put on in the first place. Best

The carbon fibre sills look good but the rocker - I personally am not a fan of. Like other people say I think it disrupts the flow of the car in a not so pleasing way to my eye.

The R8's side blades show that you can break the lines of a car in an aesthetically pleasing way - but for me this doesn't do the 458 justice and hence I stayed well away from it.

Thank you. I have nothing against the CF, but for me there is too much of it and it makes its own statement separate and apart from the car. On a more personal note, my wife tells me I also have interior decorating skils. Trying to safeguard my self image, I am presently screaming expletives, looking for hair on and simoultaenously beating my chest lol). Best

Bob is right. The CF is disruptive of the flow. As for Bob joining Diseno Central Ferrari, they do need some help, as demonstrated by the Speciale.

I think they are $20k for a set. That's what they cost for the Scud.

At this time we do not. We have a copy of the OEM panels in full carbon. They can be installed as a Gloss or matte finished or they can be finished in area with body color for contrast.
