Hi - I purchased a used (3000km) 488 at the beginning of the year. It is almost out of the 3 year factory warranty. My questions are 1. Is it worth spending $12kAUS for the extra 2 years. What’s the reliability of this model like? 2. Many of my other euro cars have good backing by the manufacturer (goodwill etc) even after the warranty period is over. Does Ferrari still come to the party of warranty assistance and good will after the period has run out? You’ll have no problems with it. But it depends on if you plan on driving it or looking at it. If you plan on putting 20k klms on it in the next 2 years, get the warranty for your own peace of mind.
