I just purchased my first Ferrari, a mint condition 2018 488 Spider with 3900 miles. When I go to close the trunk and try to get the latch to grab-click I have to push so hard it seems like the aluminum is going to distort. I know where and how to push it, it just seems like it’s to hard. Is this something that I can easily adjust? Is Is this a common issue? Is it a easy fix for a Ferrari dealer?

I don't have any specific information on the 488 models, but all hood and truck latches have an adjustment feature to set the closed position. Your adjustment is too tight. Either the latch or the catch has to be moved to reduce the hard closure. These are usually held by easily accessible nuts or bolts. Often some trim needs to be removed to gain access to the nuts or bolts. This should be a relatively easy DIY project.
