Nope. The Regera will brake 300-0 in 5 seconds. Chris Harris said it best with a smile on his face; "sorry, that's just not possible".
At 200mph (320ish kmh) a car covers over 300 feet per second. Distance to standstill is a more reliable metric. For comparison an LMP2 car can stop from 60 in 82 feet. Corvette Z06 91 Feet. GTR 97 Feet. Afaik no regular production car has broken the 90 foot barrier.
In a German magazine the Speciale was the first car EVER to stop from 100 km/h in less than 30 metres... That's 97 feet from 62 mph...
There are actually quite a few that will do it these days believe it or not. Check out this article from Dec 2011: 22 Cars that Stop from 60 MPH in Less Than 100 Feet - Motor Trend
Because there is no way better brand new model. Are you serious? For the same reasons it warranted a premium over the 458. Introducing a software driven turbo V8 in the lesser class widens the premium gap. The premier F12 has always spoken for itself. It's presence and beauty are self evident. The car suits grey much better than red imo. Suits the anonymous front end and grey details on the rear.
Maybe it's just the photos on my HD monitor but the proportions look off. First photo looks long and 3rd and 4th photos rear looks wide. Have to see it in the flesh. Color looks nice, since I own Grigio Titanio I'm partial to the silver and grays.
Sitting in my dealer now spec'ing mine out and I figured I'd pop in and put this to rest. 170.061 wo tax. 202.372 with tax base price.
I already planned to do RC. It is essentially the same car as my 458. I'll post the PDF when I get home.
