Yes, looks great in white. But I might have been tempted to do as in the attached pic. On a side note, I saw a Huracán in white on the road yesterday - now there's a car with great street presence. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Best sound i have heard from the 488. Not heard in person though. Reviewer mentioned "understeer" a few times. Never tacked my 458 Spider...does it understeer on the track?
Love that spec! If I was going to make a few tweaks I would have rosso corsa calipers, carbon wheel caps and carbon shields. I have ordered a 488 and am excited about it!
Sounded ok in the video but nothing too exciting. It almost sounded like he was short shifting all the gears... the furiousness at redline seems to be gone.

I think of it as a modern day F40. Loved the turbo engine in the F40, sure i'll love this as well. Really like the looks of the car. Thinking Argento/black.
Disappointing. Normally Ferrari pays good attention to details but not this time. The yellow car reveals some issues that seem rather strange. No car is perfect but it seems to me they were trying to hard to integrate the La Ferrari look into the older 458 shape -- while changing as few of the body panels as necessary. I spent time at the dealer with the Corsa 488 and the details you pointed out are actually not bad at all. In person, the slats and vents are actually very cool looking; pics dont do it justice to be fair. I could live with the exterior (I dont happen to think the 458 is the best looking by a mile), but lack of the sound and excitement it brings is a deal killer.
Sounds miles better than the MP4-12C! Hard to compare to 488 across recordings, but massive improvement.
"Not that bad looking" is not what I want to hear on a $300k car. The question is : is the styling a step forward or a step back from the 458? I'm trying to find someone who will say "yes! This car is a vast improvement in how the 458 looks!" I ain't finding them.
Here's a bit 488 sound from Goodwood LOL At 1:38 [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0DhvENKq60[/ame]
Yes, the 488 is a vast improvement in how the 458 puts out ...er, well....power! That's as nice as I could be. But really, the front and rear are better than the 458 in person. Holistically, not so much.
Mayor, You've been hard on the 488 since the reveal . Are you getting one? I don't disagree with you on all your points , however, I'm reserving judgement until I see the car in person and drive it... Ultimately I hope you're wrong because I'm supposed to be getting mine in the spring..
Yes. I just hope they improved the AC this time. Look..its a car forum. People say all kinds of things. The best we can be is honest with ourselves. IMO, Ferrari can do better. The more people tell them that, the better they will get on the program sooner. I don't think I'm being hard at all. No one is calling it a POS. But I have to tell you, I'm completely in love with the Speciale. I'm kicking myself for not getting one. I didn't "get it" until way too late.
