I really hope they'll do it this way : New model V8 NA, 3 years later then hardcore version, lighter and more power NA (like Speciale), 2 years later then turbocharged version. So total 8 years before all new model.
Keep the turbocharged all new for the California.

Not really. The new car will be like the 430, which was a heavily upgraded 360. Same pattern.

So they will position this upcoming car as a new model even if its a heavily upgraded 458? Like the 430 after the 360. I'm asking, because I want to buy the upcoming car. But im afraid, if its just a refresh, they will change it completely very soon. Sorry for my English :)

This is the new upcoming car just as the 430 was an upgraded 360. What Ferrari shows in the Spring will be their mid engined car for the next 5 years.

You got it right sir. The new 458 will be a big upgrade, just like the 430, and will be on sale for about 5 years.

They won't change it soon, but it may not be a massive departure from the 458 in styling.

Some people just told you their imagination about how the next Ferrari would be.

Not as fast as 650S with respect to acceleration. Not even close...

I know this is a Ferrari board and all but the Pagani cars for sure have 'The Sound' at the moment, hate to say it. Since the Zonda with the V12 Mercedes engine - closest thing that comes to sounding like the slightly older F1 cars, think back to the all engine V10s and none of these secondary methods of making, or recovering power. Next think you know F1 will go Diesel. But alas I've gone off subject.

Bottom line Ferrari needs to keep up with McLaren in their Sports car power wars. Two ways to go, increase displacement, which I think is against an Enzo Ferrari Idiom or some unknown Edict, or forced induction which means Turbo Charging here.

However I would much rather have the FF for jaunts to Tahoe during times of cold. Does any company make 19"/20" snow tires?

The new 458 replacement with set new benchmarks for the segment as per one of the engineers from Ferrari who has been working on the vehicle.

Speed and Power will surpass people's expectations and will be the start of a new generation of V8 vehicles.

Not all excited by how much faster it will get. It's not like roads are getting straighter and longer. Cars are already quick enough these days. Speed limit hasn't moved along...

    Looks like a pre-painted 458 with Speciale's wheel.

The car may be a mule that has only functional changes in the body in order to test out the running gear. The actual production car could look quite different.

No doubt it will have huge torque, but will it be as much fun to listen to and run up to 9K RPM and will the engine response make you feel like it is an extension of your right foot?
