488 488 GTB Bluetooth connectivity issue

Hi Guys,

I’ve a 2016 488 GTB and suddenly discovered a funny weird issue with my car’s Bluetooth audio. (May be the fact I kept the car locked sometimes e.g batt issue but no issue starting and always on charger)

It will not allow me to play music on Bluetooth audio anymore earlier as of today while I was doing my tpms reset and automatically lost all my FM channels having to reset them back. I’m able to make and receive Bluetooth phone calls but not audio like iPod or Spotify where I used to be able to.

Have tried deleting the phones profile from the phone side and as well from the car side and have tried on both of my iPhones. Also have tried the usual lock, unlock and restart of the car and it still persists me from using the Bluetooth audio. It keeps telling me to connect a phone when I click on media / Bluetooth audio.

The car has no warning lights and never given any problems over the past 4 years of ownership.

Has anyone had an issue like this or similar to this before and be able to solve ? Hope I do not have to replace my radio control unit.. tomorrow I will be taking it to the dealers to try a battery reset.
