OMG I can't take more than 30 seconds of that guy.

If anyone here can get all the way through without hitting mute or skipping fast forward, you win a cupie doll!

I have always been amazed that this guy is one of the most popular car reviewers on all of Youtube.

He has over 900,000 subscribers. One of the 7 wonders of the world.

Sooooo bad!! I'll give him that he's thorough though. I watched a review he did on a pickup truck before I bought it which in that case was good.

In the case of a Ferrari it is very unnecessary as he is basically reading the manual.

The host didn't concern me, I applaud his effort and ability.

    The car sounds wheezy.

And actually the more I hear, the more it reminds me of the deeper sound of my Speciale. No coincidence by Ferrari.

My biggest issue is who would spec the 488 like that! Yikes interior.

I like the interior. Love those diamond seats. I would do the upper dash in dark brown instead of black. Two-tone brown is the way to go..IMO

Yah Id much rather have my old outdated, underperforming and less exclusive 458 than my brand new 488. Maybe I should trade it in.....:)

I'm in line for a 488 spider this year. Not sure what I'll actually do.

I have both cars now (488GTB and 458 Italia). I don't know what all the whining is about , this car rocks!! In other words , I love the Italia but the 488 really is better in almost everyway without a doubt. I've owned almost every exotic brand and I am really impressed with what Ferrari has done with the 488. They are still the best exotic high performance car manufacturer in the world !!

Is it just me, or do a lot of 488 guys seem a bit too defensive?

Seriously? It's the 458 guys that come across as defensive.

Are you satisfied with the 488 exhaust sound? I'll be honest with you. It's "okay", but not exciting to my ear...IMHO.

Here's an example of what a lot of people think a Ferrari should sound like (start listening around the 20 second mark).

I'm not sure what's worse, the whine of his voice, or the whine of the turbo. :) :)

I'll take a slightly inferior but still great sound in exchange for a car that's superior in every other department any day of the week.

    355 > 360 > 430 > 458 > 488

In the sound department, stock for stock. Anyone see a pattern?

I actually enjoyed the video. He may be a bit annoying, but I like how thorough and complete he is with every detail. He even shows you what the hazard blinkers look like. Most people would never get a chance to explore cars like this, so it's an interesting take, beyond the typical driving review. I have enjoyed some of his high end profiles, like the Enzo and LaFerrari, neither of which I'll likely get a chance to explore in detail.

    Also, the car sounds amazing.

Right, slightly inferior. You're obviously biased. Watch that video again...

Let's touch bases in 5 years and 10 years and see which Ferrari is more coveted...
