    uff.
    but the front is wrong.
cause what we have seen on GT3 cars and the spy shot. we do have a lip in the middle of the front bumper.

never the less thank you for posting!

btw: i do not believe in the rear fender tdf style louvre - or wait those are 288GTO style louvre - so they should happen :)

and the rims - i´m (also) going crazy thinking about those - because if we compare F430 vs Scud or look at the Speciale rims - they were a huge improvement in terms of styling.

the 5 spoked ones look good and solid on the 488GTB. the one with the 5*2 spokes i don´t like that much...

All these renderings are merging details from the 458 Speciale with the 488 GTB - hopefully Ferrari will be more creative...

The Scud wasn't a radical departure from the 430, and the Speciale was pretty similar to the Italia.
I suspect the "GTO" will look pretty similar to the 488GTB as well.

Probably, but the differences don't have to be copied from the 458 Speciale.

Well if they take something from the 488 GTE it would be good, even the Challenge which is closer in concept and from where it started this adventure with the 360. For sure it is going to have a lot of aero mods. Anyway, can I have a Lexan window again pls.

Imagine if they put on the rear spoiler ala GT3 Porsche as they use on the Challenge/GTE. We could have F chat meltdown.

I imagine they will be tempted to take aero lessons and styling from the race cars.

    i prefer a rear wing.
you can´t built a trackweapon (what the 488VS should clearly become) and don´t increase also the aero as far as possible. in those times were downforce is the way to succeed in lap times. a **** lorry (ACR-E) smashed 13 or something track records in US - in beeing a truck - but having power and aero.
for the winglesslovers among us - a 488GTB should be more than fine and is super sleek.

How much small differences change the character of a car - we see at the Scud and Speciale. for me those were not minor changes...
I guess it will happen the same way with the 488.

And still i hope something new in engineering will be introduced - underneath the body.
KERS and (automatic) DRS mode at the rear wing - i want.

Can somebody explain why Ferraris in general are not that low? saw many 458 speciale, also 488 which had a ground clearance / tire-fender gap like a lifted truck.
Are some dealers just to lazy at the PDI to adjust the coilovers + doing the alignment (if there exist a shipping setting) or is it really meant to be like this? why? because it doesn´t helps the aero at all.

Hopefully, and on this picture both the sides of the front bumper and the air vents near the headlights are taken from the 458 Speciale - none of these is on the 488 GTE/GT3.

The rims are partially visible in this spy photo. TdF style it would appear.

Lets hope we get something from the dealers to keep us going, until we can finally see it in March.

I believe they will have some more advanced "ducts and diffuser" aero rather than too many wings/lets - I ordered my new 488 challenge track car today and think that Ferrari are right to leave fixed wings to track use - I don't want the 488VS/ notGTO to have the overt 488 challenge/GTE look - it's much better to have clever aero a la j50 .
No proof , but in between guessing , divining and 'finger in the air' , I've good ( <1%) intel that Thursday eve some definite info will be cascaded down the rumour mill - don't quote me ! :)

Speaking of covered isn't that more like October with the trees covered in green?

I have checked this thread at least 200 times just impatiently waiting for “the scoop”!
Anyway, just looking at this covered mule I am curious if others see the same details I “think” I see.
    1. The front clip looks like a creased bulge in front of the front wheel like a Venturi blade and the bungee clips are not secured like it may be too tight on the aero feature
    2. There appears to be another set of venting for the rear quarter window above the known venting for the side scoops
    3. The rockers leading to the rear wheels seem exaggeratedly flared compared to the 488 GTB
    4. Ducktail does seem more pronounced. I would love an active aero ala LaFerrari deployable wing.
Thoughts? I am just trying to find something to occupy my anticipation

Next question for the group? What do you think the launch color will be?

    Speciale Rosso Corsa
    Speciale Aperta Giallo
    488 Rosso Corsa Met
    488 Spider Blu Corsa
    488VS hmmmmm. Bianco?

If the red car is anything to go by, then there could be more of a link to the Challenge car, at least. from the front bumper intakes. Without the side winglets I would guess. I would like this aggressive look. Bonnet scoops like that too please.
